The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a nodal agency that looks into the safety and quality of food in India. It was founded in 2006 and works under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The FSSAI conducts various examinations to recruit deserving candidates in different categories. The FSSAI Recruitment 2021 would start on October 13, 2021. The recruitment process would be conducted for various posts of Technical Officer, Assistant Manager, IT Assistant, and others. Food Safety and Standards Authority of India or FSSAI Recruitment 2021 release has been released on the sanctioned website. While the loss process for 233 voids was supposed to start present-October 8, 2021, the use date got extended. The use process would now start from October 13, 2021. Applicants should note that the age relaxation varies for each post. For all the posts, except for Food Analyst and Junior Assistant grade 1, applicants shouldn't be added than 30 cycles of age as of November 12, 2021. For the post of Food Analyst, applicants shouldn't be added than 35 cycles of age as of November 12, 2021. Similalry, for the post of Junior Assistant Grade 1, applicants shouldn't be added than 25 cycles of age as of November 30, 2021. Notwithstanding, certain age relaxations are applicable as per rules. For SC & ST applicants, age relaxation of up to 5 cycles is allowed. For OBC applicants, non cottony bracket, age relaxation of up to 3 years is allowed.

FSSAI Recruitment 2021: Steps to Apply

1. Go to the official website-fssai.gov.in.
2. Now click on the "Jobs" tab on the website. A new window would open up.
3. Candidates should now go to the circular number-HR-12013/6/2021-HR-FSSAI [DR-04/2021] and click on Apply Online. The link would be activated from October 13, 2021.
4. Candidates have to fill the application form with the necessary details. 
5. After filling the application form, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 1500.
6. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the application form for further detailsls

Seekers are advised to go through the detailed notice released by FSSAI before applying for the posts. With greetings to the selection process, the post of Food Analyst would have both written test and interview. The post of Hindi Translator, Assistant, I-T Assistant, and Junior Assistant Grade I would be rested on CBT. Further, the post of Technical Officer, Assistant Manager, Assistant Manager, IT, and Central Food Security Officer would jibe of two tests that would be held in CBT mode.
